Lactaid Milk Recalled in 27 States Due to Undeclared Almonds

HP Hood LLC has recalled 96-ounce Lactaid milk containers in 27 states after the FDA warned of trace amounts of almonds not listed on the label.



The recall applies to a limited batch of Lactaid Milk shipped to retailers and wholesalers between September 5 and September 18, 2024. The affected states include: Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The recalled products are in plastic containers with the code 51-4109 P2 and specific “best by” dates.



No illnesses have been reported, but individuals with almond allergies could face serious health risks.



Consumers who have purchased the affected Lactaid Milk are advised to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
