Rome Police Department Offers Free Car Seat Installation and Safety Checks

Rome, NY — The Rome Police Department is hosting a free child car seat installation and safety check on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Nicky Doodles, 1159 Erie Blvd W, Rome, NY 13440.

Certified technicians will be on-site to ensure that child car seats are properly installed and meet all current safety standards. The event is open to all families in the community.

In addition to the installation service, free car seats will be available for qualifying individuals, providing a valuable opportunity for families in need to ensure their children travel safely.
