Tragedy Strikes Syracuse: Two Killed in Dump Truck Collision

SYRACUSE, NY — July 10, 2025 — A fatal accident unfolded late Thursday morning in Syracuse, leaving two young adults dead after being struck by a dump truck.

Emergency crews responded after 10:30 a.m. to the intersection of East Adams Street and University Avenue, where the crash was reported. A woman believed to be in her 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. A 24-year-old man was rushed to Upstate University Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
