Teen Accused of Robbing 10-Year-Old in Utica

UTICA, NY — On July 2nd, 2025, Utica Police responded to a robbery on the 1400 block of Dudley Avenue, where a 10-year-old boy reported being attacked while walking home from a store. According to police, another juvenile approached the child, pushed him off his bicycle, and stole property from him before fleeing the scene.
The case was turned over to the Juvenile Aid Unit, which conducted interviews and reviewed surveillance footage. Their investigation led to the identification of a 15-year-old suspect.
On July 21st, the teen was issued an Appearance Ticket for Robbery in the Third Degree and will appear in Oneida County Family Court. His name is being withheld due to his age.
