Police Investigating Overnight Gunfire on Green and City Streets



Utica, NY – In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 16, at approximately 2:28 a.m., Utica Police responded to two ShotSpotter alerts reporting gunfire in the 1100 blocks of Green Street and City Street.



Upon arrival, officers located multiple spent shell casings on Green Street. Additionally, a bullet projectile was discovered lodged in the second-floor window of a residence on the 100 block of City Street.



The Utica Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is actively investigating the incident.
