New Hartford Woman Arrested for Assault Violating Court Order

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – The New Hartford Police Department arrested a local woman Thursday evening following a reported altercation on Alvin Place.

Police responded to the scene after receiving a call about an argument that escalated to physical contact between two individuals. Officers determined that 33-year-old Christina Brue of New Hartford allegedly struck an adult male victim. Further investigation revealed that Brue’s actions violated an existing Oneida County Family Court order of protection between the parties.

Brue was charged with:

• Criminal Contempt in the First Degree (NYS PL 215.51), a Class E felony

• Harassment in the Second Degree (NYS PL 240.26), a violation

She was arrested, processed at the New Hartford Police Department, and then transported to the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment in the Oneida County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
