
Medical Emergency Leads to Single-Vehicle Crash in Downtown Utica

Utica, NY – A single-vehicle accident occurred in downtown Utica Thursday night, reportedly caused by a medical emergency.
Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 9:30 p.m. at the Centro Hub, located at 15 Elizabeth Street. According to officials, an SUV crashed into a tree and a fence, causing the vehicle’s airbags to deploy.
The driver is believed to have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash. They were treated at the scene and transported to Wynn Hospital by Kunkel Ambulance for further care.
No additional injuries were reported.
