UTICA, N.Y. — The Summer Food Service Program is back to ensure no child goes hungry during the school break. Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered at the state level, the SFSP provides free, nutritious meals and snacks to children and teens throughout the summer.
Meals are completely free of charge and available to all children 18 years old and younger. No registration or proof of income is required. However, students must be present to receive meals. Parents or guardians are not allowed to pick up meals on behalf of their children.
