15-Year-Old Arrested in Connection to Roberts Street Shooting; Two Suspects Still at Large

UTICA, NY — Following a shooting on May 26th, 2025, that left one man injured on the 700 block of Roberts Street, police have made a development in the case.



Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit and Juvenile Aid Unit have identified three suspects believed to be responsible for firing multiple rounds into the victim’s home. After weeks of investigation, one of those suspects, a 15-year-old male, was taken into custody on June 25th.



The teen has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree. Due to his age, his name is not being released.



Efforts are still underway to locate the remaining two juvenile suspects involved in the incident. Police say more updates will be shared as the investigation progresses.
